Architosh is pleased to present our feature special report on Graebert’s Annual Meeting in Berlin held two weeks ago. The German CAD company specializes in serving the global CAD community via its highly valued ARES native DWG-file based 2/3D CAD technology, a complete solution which OEMs can license, modify and rebrand as their own. The company has a growing array of top-tier partners—both industry stalwarts and emerging starlets—like Onshape.

This year’s focus was very much on VR (virtual reality) & Cloud Based Rendering. The focus on Virtual Reality brought a new creative energy on the show floor for exploration into a new frontier. VR in architecture & games was a big subject in the VR Village. Developers had discussions of how the hardware & software is driving development of this new space to make it affordable to the masses.

In the early hours of one of the mornings of Autodesk’s AEC Media Summit, held in Boston a week after AIA Atlanta, Architosh got an exclusive sit-down with the Autodesk Dynamo Studio lead to talk about this product’s direction and possible future…including a peak at something on the Mac!
